Roaring for Global Tiger Day: GETHA's CSR Initiative

Global Tiger Day

Date: 28.07.2023
Location: Training Room, GETHA Office

Global Tiger Day, observed on 28th July, is a day dedicated to celebrating the majestic tiger and raising awareness about their conservation. At GETHA, we are committed to more than just crafting eco-friendly bedding essentials; we stand tall with the tigers in protecting their habitats. As part of this commitment, we organized a special CSR initiative on Global Tiger Day, featuring Wildlife Conservation Artist Christine Das.

Global Tiger Day

The event took place in the training room at our GETHA office, bringing together our team for a half-day of meaningful activities. The first hour was dedicated to learning about the history of tigers, their extinctions, habitats, and the critical importance of their conservation. It was a time to reflect on the impact humans have had on these incredible creatures and to explore how we can contribute to their protection.

The heart of the CSR initiative was the following two hours, where we engaged in a unique activity. Christine Das, a passionate Wildlife Conservation Artist, had handcrafted tiger molds, and we had the opportunity to unleash our creativity by painting these tigers. This hands-on experience allowed our staff to express their love for tigers and wildlife conservation through art. Each stroke of the brush was a roar of support for the tigers.

On this Global Tiger Day, GETHA partnered with SoWILD, an organization dedicated to the conservation of wildlife, particularly tigers. Just as we are committed to crafting eco-friendly bedding essentials, we are equally dedicated to safeguarding the natural habitats of these magnificent creatures.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to GETHA for arranging this activity, which not only brought our GETHA family together but also allowed us to spread awareness about the urgent need for wildlife conservation. Our CSR initiative was more than just a one-day event; it was a step toward a sustainable future where tigers and other endangered species thrive in their natural habitats.

Let's continue to roar for the protection of tigers, and let our actions speak louder than words. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that these beautiful creatures continue to roam the wild for generations to come.
